Mar 30, 2022 · Ysterperd. I upgraded my PC Yesterday from a AMD Ryzen 2600 to a Ryzen 5600g. The PC keeps booting up no problem but when it overclocks automatically its black screens and restarts. Following is the Specs: Windows 10 Pro. But when the CPU Auto Overclocks on the Ryzen 5600g to 4,6Ghz its crashing .

May 16, 2020 · I recently bought a Ryzen 7 3700x cpu to upgrade my cpu. I am new to upgrading a gaming pc by myself and I was not aware that I was supposed to update bios before updating your cpu. Without knowing about updating Bios first, I already installed my new Ryzen 7 from Ryzen 5. It was fine, it started like normal. I had it only run for about 5 hours.

Feb 5, 2022 · 16gb ddr4 3200mhz ram. i have upgraded from a ryzen 3 1200 to a ryzen 5 5600g, and now the computer won’t boot, it also won’t boot when i put back the ryzen 3 1200. the lights come on, fans spin but no post. the power button also doesn’t work once i’ve turned it on, i have to turn off the power. if anyone knows what to do please help.

Nov 21, 2021. #11. Maybe you need to update the Firmware ("BIOS") of your Motherboard in order to make it work with newer CPU models. Often it is possible to update the BIOS from USB-Stick (may need a specific USB-Port) by pressing a dedicated hardware switch, even when the system isn't booting up at all.
