Feb 23, 2021 · My HP smart app is currently stuck in an endless loading screen after asking if I want to share data with HP. After about 1 minute of loading it just crashes (closes itself). Sometimes it acutally loads into the interface but you can see the loading animation in the background and again a crash after 30 seconds to 1 minute.

May 20, 2023 · It finds the printer, and configures the printer, but that's it. The purple light stays on, and eventually the "i" and "x" turn off. Also, it disconnects my laptop (which I am using to connect to the printer) from my wifi and creates a "HP=Setup<98_ENVY 6000" network . I need help! This printer worked fine 2 days ago and then it wouldn't go online.

With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer. Wait at least 30 seconds. Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet and printer without any surge protector.
