Aug 26, 2010 · I just printed them out using magiccards.info proxy thing, cut them using a big paper cutter, then glued them onto the backs of rule cards, and stuck them in sleeves. They work fine, with a few miscuts here and there.
Where can I get custom Magic: the Gathering cards printed?
If you're looking to get the correct thickness for the cards, ask the print shop to print them on 14-point paper, or whatever they have in stock that requires a printer drum to have a rating of just over 300 psi. Through some experimentation at my job and a bit of research, I've discovered that to be the thickness of all trading cards.

A decent high res solid ink printer is probably gonna run you a grand or so, then you need to buy the ink sticks, they're about $150 a set or so, then you need to get a nice card stock, and then you could start to print MTG cards that would ...

Mar 9, 2012 · I'm in the process of doing this myself as well. If you paste them over to Word and than scale them to 3.41" x 2.44" they fit nicely on a card without any of the boarders on the cards overhanging the edges.

Aug 13, 2011 · Normally I'd use the magiccards.info proxy generator, but since a large portion of the deck is black or old-frame artifact so it'd take a prohibitively large amount of ink and on top of that, we'd still only have the cards as printed when we really need the oracle text.

Feb 2, 2012 · It also sizes them out to be printed. You can just set your printer to print it out in black and white if you don't want the colors. Granted ugly proxies makes learning not as fun imho. Use print preview and also possibly do a test just so you don't print off 10 pages and find out the size of each proxy is slightly too small or big.
