Sep 6, 2020 · TBH, I'd be pretty happy with a $150-200 over the FE price for the 3090 FTW3 ultra. ttingley The FTW3 "Ultra" 2080 Ti was $1499.99. Founders edition was $1199.99 so that'd be $300 over the FE. Prior to the 2000 series, top end cards were not that much more over the reference cards.

I'm reading the 3090 is a 20% increase over the 3080 Ultra, for 100% price increase, I don't think I have to explain what a poor ratio that is mathematically. The air lid for the LS1 V8 engine (C5 Corvette, 1998-2002 Z28/SS Camaro and TransAm/WS6 Firebird, GTO) is a 15-20 hp boost at the wheels (rwhp) for $100.

Nov 20, 2006 · If anything you can buy 2 3080 cards and the Nvlink bridge for the same price as a single 3090. More than double the price for 30% more performance at most is just ridiculous. So fir folding it's either 30% or 100% for the same price. Maybe AI stuff needs that extra RAM. No workload I have can possibly use 24GB of graphics memory.

Jul 8, 2003 · Big question is.. the current price on the 3090 is $1919 and $1700 after an instant rebate. Does the rebate count as the MSRP? So taxes.. $116 for old card and $132 for new card at 6%. $248 in tax $160 for 5 year extended warranty (just to qualify for Step up cause I missed the 14 day window). $281 difference in card. Ruffly $681 plus shipping.

That and you can actually get an extended warranty with EVGA (and put the card in a backup rig/kids rig when you upgrade). #4.
