Viewers are in for a ride when "The Curious Case of Natalia Grace: The Final Chapter" returns for its third and final season in January. The Investigation Discovery series follows Natalia Grace, a Ukrainian orphan with a rare dwarfism condition, as she "is forced to navigate a number of seemingly insurmountable challenges," per a press release.

Grace was invited to live with Bishop Antwon and Cynthia Mans after she was abandoned. The first two episodes of “The Curious Case of Natalia Grace,” told the story about her adoption, claims that she was an adult and not a minor when abandoned and claims that she was manipulative and predatory.

The series follows the Barnett family, who initially adopted what they assumed to be a 6-year-old Ukrainian orphan with spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia, a rare bone growth disorder.

In the final episodes of the ID series, Natalia's continued communication with her prior adoptive family wreaks havoc on the DePaul household as they try to help her understand how she's been exploited.
