After all, PS5 Pro pre-orders have now hit the web and many are also racing to secure their disc drives at the same time. That means we're seeing limited stock in the US, though the UK is holding out particularly well. Right now you'll be heading to GameStop to buy a PS5 disc drive in the US, or Currys in the UK.

Mashable reached out to Sony to find out whether the company expects the PS5 Pro to sell out quickly at launch since initial availability is limited to one retailer, and if it had any plans to avoid inventory shortages. At the time of writing, we hadn't heard back.
