MCKINNEY – Two people are dead and two are in police custody following a shooting in McKinney on Saturday. At around 5:50 p.m., McKinney police received multiple calls reporting gunfire near the intersection of Chestnut Street and Colorado Street, the department shared in a news release.

MCKINNEY, Texas — Two people died after suffering gunshot wounds in a shooting Saturday night in McKinney, police said. According to the McKinney Police Department, officers responded to the shooting around 5:50 p.m. near the intersection of Chestnut Street and Colorado Street.

McKinney police are seeking help to find the suspect in a fatal shooting of two young men on Saturday evening. An argument was captured on surveillance video just before the shooting.

There is new information Tuesday from McKinney police on the shooting deaths of two men this weekend. Police are now saying they have two people under arrest in connection to the deaths of the 17-year-old and 22-year-old victims.
