Andra Day has joined 'Percy Jackson' Season 2 as Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom and mother of Annabeth Chase.

Oscar-nominated actor Andra Day has been tapped to play Athena, the Greek Goddess of Wisdom and Annabeth’s mom, in the upcoming second season of Disney+’s Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

Day's Athena will be the mother of Annabeth Chase (Leah Sava Jeffries) in Disney's adaptation of the Rick Riordan series.
