A 49-year-old man suspected of stabbing his own father to death in Hartford was set to face a judge on Monday.

Police say Raybin Hokim, who is accused of fatally stabbing his father in the neck Saturday in Hartford, told of decades of conflict between them.

A Connecticut man fatally stabbed his father in a fight in a parked car at a Hartford motel, police said. Raybin Hokim, 49, was detained shortly after stepping out of the vehicle Saturday morning, the Hartford Courant reported. His father, 78-year-old Vincent Hokim, was identified as the victim.
