Ahead of the PlayStation 5 Pro's launch, sources confirm that Sony's high-powered console will hold a storage advantage over the base PS5 models.

Sony says that despite the "different comments" on the PS5 Pro's chunky price point, the "pricing [...] has not had a negative impact" on sales. As spotted by Genki_JPN, Sony president, COO, and CFO Hiroki Totoki said the system was "targeted" at "hardcore users",

According to a new report by Nikkei Asia, Totoki described the PS5 Pro as “a high-end product targeted at core customers” which didn't have “a large sales plan to begin with.” He went on to say that he believes it is “performing slightly stronger than the pre-orders of the PS4 Pro during the same period”.

Sony has revealed PS5 Pro enhanced games available at launch, including hits like Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Black Ops 6, and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
