The Z13 supports USB-C Power Delivery for charging, but that won’t be powerful enough to allow its full performance under load. Instead, it comes with a 200W power adapter that uses Asus’ proprietary and reversible slim power jack — like on its recent laptops.

The new ASUS ROG Flow Z13 gaming tablet features a 13-inch 2.5K 180Hz touchscreen Nebula Display with 500 nits of peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, a new stainless steel and copper vapor chamber, larger intake vents, and 2nd Gen Arc Flow Fans which provide 70% more airflow for quiet, and efficient cooling.

The 2025 Strix series also boasts the latest processors from both AMD and Intel. The next-gen Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 275HX is available on both Strix SCAR models, as well as the Strix G16 and G18, while the AMD-equipped Strix G16 and Strix G18 feature the latest AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D (Strix G16) or Ryzen 9 9955HX (Strix G18) processors.

You’ll have to pay a pretty penny to get your hands on a tablet with a Strix Halo processor though – the new Asus ROG Flow Z13 is expected to sell for around $2,000 and up. While the new model has integrated graphics that should be more powerful than many discrete GPUs,

The original ROG Flow Z13 was always a bit of an odd machine. It felt like the strange lovechild between a Surface Pro and a traditional gaming laptop. But at CES 2025, ASUS is giving the tablet a much needed refresh that includes a massive performance boost thanks to the company’s updated XG Mobile graphics dock.

I like the idea of a gaming tablet, but between the price and practicality, is it really a good idea to bring the Asus ROG Flow Z13 back?
