Nvidia will soon be introducing a hard playtime cap of 100 total hours to nearly all levels of their GeForce Now cloud gaming service.

New GeForce Now members that sign up for the service from 2025 onward will have a cap on monthly playtime set at 100 hours. That works out to around three hours of usage every day of the month, and Nvidia says it’s putting the cap in place to avoid increasing membership prices “in the foreseeable future.”

GeForce Now subscribers will have their game-streaming hours capped, instead of paying more for the regular service.

If you’re a heavy user of Nvidia’s GeForce Now cloud gaming platform, you might want to make a note of its biggest new change. Starting in 2025, users (including those who pay for premium service) will be limited to 100 hours of streaming per month.

The existing GeForce Now subscriptions will have a time limit. If you want to play more than 100 hours a month, you will have to pay extra for gaming from 2025.
