BASE are moving a third film in the "Den of Thieves" franchise into active development. "Den of Thieves 2: Pantera" opened in the No. 1 spot at the North American box office and has grossed more than $32 million at the domestic box office to date.

Pantera grossing close to $50M around the globe, Lionsgate, Tucker Tooley Entertainment and Gerard Butler’s G-BASE are putting Den of Thieves 3 into active development. Butler is eyeing a return along with O’Shea Jackson.

Amazon and Lionsgate have struck a streaming deal to have as many as 20 Lionsgate theatrical releases stream on Prime Video each year.

The agreement will see titles like ‘Now You See Me 3’ and ‘The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping’ land on the streamer after leaving cinemas and Starz’s earlier exclusive first-run window.

Prime Video has announced that it will be the new home for streaming Lionsgate movies in the US starting in 2026, and will also get a bunch of the studio's 2025 films. The movies will appear on Starz first, immediately after release, with Prime Video getting them exclusively in an "early window" just after that, according to Deadline.
