In our review of the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite-powered HP EliteBook Ultra G1q last year one of our few concerns with the EliteBook Ultra was the potential software incompatibility due to the ARM-based Qualcomm chip.

HP has launched the EliteBook Ultra G1i, a new laptop that belongs to the company's EliteBook range of laptops aimed at business professionals. The laptop comes with an Intel Core Ultra processor, up to an Intel Core Ultra 7.

HP rebranded its entire laptop portfolio, and the Dragonfly became the EliteBook Ultra. There was just one problem. Other than the color, the Snapdragon-powered EliteBook Ultra was nothing like a Dragonfly.
