The Flash director Andy Muschietti has broken his silence on where things stand with The Brave and the Bold, admitting that its delay could see him helm another movie before starting work on the project.

Muschietti claimed it wasn’t “an abandoned project by any means,” adding, “I love that film, there is a script that I like a lot.” However, he acknowledged that securing his desired budget for the project remained an obstacle.
