Celebrities are sharing emotional reactions and speaking out about evacuating and losing their homes amid the multiple fires in Los Angeles.

Fires burning in and around Los Angeles have claimed the homes of numerous celebrities, including Billy Crystal, Mandy Moore and Paris Hilton and led to sweeping disruptions of entertainment events.

Many of my friends will lose their homes. Many other communities as well,” Jamie Lee Curtis said on Instagram.

The actor, who had initially indicated he lost his home to the blazes raging across Southern California this week, returned to his neighborhood on Friday where he documented the destruction caused by the flames.

Curtis flew out to New York City to appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon as the fires started spreading. The actor appeared on the show to promote her new film The Last Showgirl but she became emotional when she started talking about the fires.
