Former Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll is clearly showing a desire to return to coaching. In late December it was announced Carroll was interested in the Bears' top job, and he even recently completed an interview with Chicago.

Hughes’ NFL experience includes a two-year stint as the Vikings’ defensive backs coach under Bud Grant in 1982 and 1983, giving him a connection with one of the Raiders’ head coach candidates.
