A man accused of stabbing his father to death in a car parked outside a motel in Hartford over the weekend told police the brutal attack was brought on by the father calling him bad names and refusing to leave him alone.

A Connecticut man fatally stabbed his father in a fight in a parked car at a Hartford motel, police said. Raybin Hokim, 49, was detained shortly after stepping out of the vehicle Saturday morning, the Hartford Courant reported. His father, 78-year-old Vincent Hokim, was identified as the victim.
