Theodore Roosevelt High School went into a soft lockdown Thursday morning after reports of a Snapchat post of a student with a gun in their waistband.  According to an email released to parents by Tom Larkin,

School had already begun Thursday at Roosevelt Kent High School when police and faculty discovered a possible threat that was posted on social media. The school was placed on lockdown.

Kent Roosevelt High School (RHS) was placed under lock down Thursday morning after a social media post showed a student with a handgun. Kent Police Lt. Mike Lewis said the student in the photo attends RHS and the photo was posted shortly before the school day began.
