Lisa was announced to be joining the ensemble earlier in 2024. It was also confirmed that the Thai star will be credited as Lalisa Manobal, her given name. This stint marks Lisa's acting debut, also making her the second BLACKPINK member cast in an HBO show. She follows Jennie 's debut in The Idol .
