Pakistan will take on arch-rival India in the marquee group game of the 2025 Champions Trophy in Dubai on Feb. 23 after the ICC finally announced the schedule for the tournament.

England are Australia's first Champions Trophy opponents in Pakistan in February but Pat Cummins' team could end up playing the final in Dubai.

The all-important India vs Pakistan clash will be played on February 23 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Alongside the Men in Green, Bangladesh and New Zealand are also part of India's group. Rohit Sharma and company will square off against Bangladesh on February 20, and New Zealand on March 2.

The tournament runs from February 19 to March 9 and will be split between host country Pakistan and neutral venue Dubai. India refused to travel to Pakistan due to security fears and political tension. “The eight-team tournament will feature 15 matches, and will be played across Pakistan and in Dubai,” announced the ICC.
