Comcast Raises Dividend by 6.5%, Sets New $15 Billion Buyback
Comcast's board has raised the cable giant's quarterly dividend by 6.5%, to 33 cents from 31 cents, and approved a new $15 billion share-repurchase program. The new payout, equal to $1.32 a year, represents an annual yield of about 3.53% based on Wednesday's closing price of $37.36, up from 3.32%.
