Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Shadows has been delayed again. The open-world stealth game was set to arrive in February following its initial delay in September 2024, but now it won’t launch until March 20.

Ubisoft has accidentally revealed Claws of Awaji, the first expansion for Assassin's Creed Shadows on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

This marks the second release date change for the video game, which was originally moved from its planned Nov. 15, 2024 launch to Feb. 14, 2025 at Ubisoft last September. The shift was attributed to quality concerns related to poor performance for “Star Wars Outlaws” at the time.

Ubisoft and Assassin's Creed Shadows are both back in the middle of controversy following the new release date for the game.

Despite the fact that fans will now have to wait even longer to play Assassin's Creed Shadows, it's most recent delay may be a blessing in disguise.

Assassin's Creed Shadows has been delayed again with the next entry in the behemoth series pushed back to March 20, 2025.
