Sony has doubled the price of Horizon Zero Dawn on PS4 in the aftermath of the announcement of the game’s PS5 remaster. It had previously cost $19.99 or less to purchase the Complete Edition of Guerrilla’s open world outing since 2018,

Until recently, the PS4 version of Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition was listed at $19.99/ £15.99, according to PSPrices. This has been the case for over two years. Now, the game’s price has been increased to $39.99/ £34.99.

Zero Dawn following the reveal of its PS5 remaster. Eurogamer spotted the price rise in the UK (from £15.99 to £34.99) but the price also rose in the U.S., jumping from $19.99 to $39.99 on the PlayStation Store.

Ahead of Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered's launch, the PS4 version sees a price increase on the PlayStation Store.

Not too long after PlayStation revealed a trailer and release date for Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, the original game’s price doubled. On September 24, the PlayStation State of Play returned with some heavy hits, such as free Astro Bot DLC, as well as the reveal of Ghost of Yotei, a follow-up to Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima.

Sony has increased the price of Horizon Zero Dawn on the PSN store, following an announcement of the game’s new PS5 remaster. Prior to the news, the game could be picked up on the store for $19.99 or £18.99. However, it’s since gone up to $39.99 in the US, and £34.99 in the UK.
