Skeleton Crew. Like a lot of people, I have been a Star Wars fan for essentially as long as I’ve been alive. The franchise is only a couple of months older than I am so I grew up with the Original Trilogy.

It’s been just over 12 years since Disney acquired the rights to the Star Wars license from George Lucas. These 12 years have had some high points and low points, but it has become increasingly obvious that the franchise is in the best place it’s been since the original trilogy ended in 1983.

The “ Star Wars ” fan in me is devastated. After seven episodes, many of which only improved as the show progressed, “Skeleton Crew” is gearing up for its season (series?) finale on Disney Plus and I’m not too happy about it.

Naturally, anyone who watched the Skeleton Crew finale noticed that the characters are primed for more adventures. Here’s what series creator Jon Watts told Entertainment Weekly when asked about Season 2, and it’s not great:
