The return of Wilson Fisk/Kingpin to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has fans buzzing with excitement. Known for his commanding presence and cunning, the character played by Vincent D'Onofrio promises to bring a plot full of intrigue and power in the new series Daredevil: Born Again.

Six years after its final episode, Daredevil officially joins the MCU with the return of his standalone show alongside some new and familiar faces

On top of Matt and Wilson being back, Daredevil: Born Again 's trailer also highlights the return of characters like Karen (Deborah Ann Woll), Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson), and Punisher Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal). It also teases some fairly brutal beatdowns — but then again, it wouldn't be Daredevil without some great fights now, would it?

The trailer then showcases some new and old characters and ends with a brutal fight sequence between Daredevil and the Kingpin. Fans are excited to see OG Punisher back in the trailer and are calling it the “return of Marvel.

It’s a full gallery of characters on display, from a retired (temporarily) Matt Murdoch to a now-mayor, still-violent Kingpin. We also see the return of Foggy and Karen, who were originally cut, and maybe even killed offscreen, when the first draft of this show was written, and eventually thrown out. Thank god.

Also returning in Daredevil: Born Again are Elden Henson and Deborah Ann Woll as Foggy Nelson and Karen Page, while Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk had already hopped over to the MCU in previous shows Hawkeye and Echo.
