The uptick in the share prices of these companies came on the back of securing a letter of intent (LoI) form Maharashtra state DISCOM for supply of 6,600 MW hybrid solar and thermal power.

Adani Group's bid to supply 6,600 MW of renewable and thermal power to Maharashtra boosts shares of Adani Power and Adani Green Energy. Adani Power's bid was lower than current procurement costs, ensuring competitive pricing and future energy needs.

Adani Power shares surged over 5% after winning a bid to supply 6,600 MW of bundled renewable and thermal power to Maharashtra at Rs 4.08 per unit, beating competitors like JSW Energy. Adani Green Energy shares also jumped by over 7%,

Shares of Adani Green Energy rose 6.40% to Rs 1,902.65, and Adani Power increased 6.45% to Rs 674.30. This follows the Adani group's receipt of a Letter of Intent from Maharashtra State DISCOM for 6,600 MW of hybrid solar and thermal power.

Adani Power and Adani Green Energy will supply 6,600 MW of solar and thermal power to Maharashtra, strengthening their role in the state and helping India's shift to renewable energy. The announcement also led to a rise in their stock prices.
