It will mark the company's fastest turnaround yet for the rocket designed to take humans back to the moon -- and eventually Mars.

According to reports, Elon Musk’s SpaceX will use batteries developed by South Korea’s LG Energy Solution for its Starship rocket, which is intended for Mars. The reports state that the South Korean battery manufacturing firm is planning to develop new cells based on its cylindrical batteries for the Starship rocket.

Originally, Starship's fifth flight was expected to be delayed until November so that an environmental analysis could be completed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. But SpaceX ultimately received a launch license from the Federal Aviation Administration and held the test Oct. 13.
