South Korean anti-corruption agency says that a court has issued warrants to detain impeached President Yoon Suk Yeol and search his office.

A South Korean court on Tuesday approved an arrest warrant issued for President Yoon Suk Yeol, who was impeached and stripped of his presidential powers just weeks ago over his short-lived martial law decree that threw the country into political chaos.

The vote was the second major impeachment in two weeks after President Yoon’s ill-fated martial law bid set off turmoil. The country’s currency has plunged.
