More snow is on the way for parts of Pennsylvania. A storm that will bring snow from the Midwest to the central Appalachians is predicted to take place from Wednesday evening into Thursday night, according to Accuweather.

A Winter Weather Advisory began for Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania at 4 a.m. and will be in effect until 4 a.m. Friday. The National Weather Service issued an alert at 4 a.m. saying to expect between one to three inches of snow,

McKean County could see two to four inches of snow.

The first significant snowstorm of 2025 is expected to hit the region Sunday night, Jan 5, bringing up to 8 inches of snow to parts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, according to the National Weather Service.

While storm details remain uncertain, forecasters say the coldest air of the season is likely to blast the N.J. region next week.
