Elon Musk Questions DeepSeek Microchip Claims
Elon Musk has questioned the microchip claims made by DeepSeek AI, a fast-emerging player in the artificial intelligence pool, which is starting to challenge the United States' control over the AI industry. Newsweek has reached out to DeepSeek via email and Musk via X's press department for comment.
Elon Musk joked about DeepSeek's data storing policy and called it 'DeeperSeek'.
He added, "But mostly we are excited to continue to execute on our research roadmap and believe more compute is more important now than ever before to succeed at our mission. The world is going to want to use a LOT of ai, and really be quite amazed by the next gen models coming."
