Dozens of passengers were left stranded unable to board their Ryanair flight from Lisbon Airport to Dublin after a 'hostile' passport control experience.

In a chaotic turn of events, over 60 Ryanair passengers were recently left grounded in Lisbon Airport, unable to fly to Dublin following what has been described as a 'hostile' passport control situation.

A fire broke out last night at Weston Airport in Dublin, with all flights in and out of the facility cancelled on Wednesday.

All flights have been cancelled at a west Dublin airport after a fire. Weston Airport in Lucan is primarily used for private and training flights. The blaze broke out in a room near the control room in the airport at around 10pm on Tuesday night.
