RTD police chief no longer with agency

The Regional Transportation District is without a police chief after Joel Fitzgerald Sr., on leave since July 1, officially split with the transit agency on Friday, RTD officials confirmed. The Regional Transportation District's chief of police is no longer with that organization. On Friday, an RTD spokesperson confirmed Joel Fitzgerald is "no longer chief of police."
