This small park feels like you are out in the country but it is right outside of Harrisburg. It has a towpath and a boardwalk for walking and seeing nature. Full review by 263danah

Probably depends on the time of day. You can run on the wood chips," beside Industrial Road during the day when a lot of people are also using the trail, but I wouldn't go through all the back trails alone, and wouldn't run on the wood chips near dusk. I guess if you want to be really really safe, run at a gym; or on Front Street, where you're always visible.

Does this park allow charcoal grills in the picnic area?

Visitors may use the grills located next to the pavilions. They are designed for charcoal.
