Sims can't use computer[SOLVED] - EA Answers HQ
WEBWhen I try to get my sim to use the computer, nothing happens. I tried resetting (debugging) the computer using testingcheats but that didn't fix the problem. I also tried switching to different computers (both cc and non-cc ones) and restarting the game but nothing works. The problem just appeared randomly while I was playing the Sims 4.

WEBAccepted Solution. @Ketrindoll You can copy the entire save files from one computer to another. All your user-created content is located in the Sims 4 folder in Documents\Electronic Arts: saves are in the saves folder, saved households and builds are in Tray, etc. This is a complete list of the contents of that folder:

WEBOptions. SheriGR. Champion. @Mariah0830 Since Gaminggirl91011 marked Comment #4 as the solution, I would assume the issue laid in their Mods/CC. If you have Mods/CC in your game, or had them in the past, you could try that solution by testing without the Mods, CC, and cache file as directed in Comment #4.
Transferring my full gameplays and game onto another computer
WEB1. Go to your Electronic Arts folder - C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts. 2. Right-click to highlight the Sims 4 folder and select Copy. 3. Paste it to a USB key to help you transfer the files to you new computer. Once transferred, you'll want to copy either the whole Sims 4 folder to your Electronic Arts folder.

WEBAs long as you don't do anything else while reinstalling, your computer should be safe. If the game works, set exceptions for TS4_DX9_x64.exe (if you've set Sims 4 to use DirectX 9) and/or TS4_x64.exe (for DX11) as well as EADesktop.exe. Test the game once before restoring any user data as well.
