Then finally tweezer test (confirm solid pin connection using tweezers to probe each pin), reassemble, then power test. I also use Kaptan Tape (Polymide Tape) to protect surrounding components.

WEBNov 5, 2020 · Hdmi to display port adapters are strange. Since the hdmi source is coming from the PS5 and going to the display port on the monitor, you may be in a tough situation. Generally dvi adapters work if the source is coming from a display port to an hdmi monitor. There may be ways around it but that is what I know from my experience.

WEBNov 14, 2020 · The HDMI port on the PS5 bends very easily. I was pulling the PS5 out of my entertainment center, hardly put any pressure on it at all and the HDMI port bent pretty badly. I was able to bend it back and it seems to be working fine, but I’m guessing this could lead to serious issue if you aren’t cautious when plugging/unplugging the HDMI cable.
