WEBOct 4, 2017 · Its hard to compare that to PC memory because we use separate RAM for the system and Vram on the graphics card. The gpu most people use who make console killers is the 1050ti (which has 4Gb of vram) and usually 8 Gb of System memory. So a total of 12Gb of memory, all of which is faster memory than what you get in a ps4.

Rename it to psxitarch. Then eject the drive and now lets move onto the PS4 side of things. Load jailbreak with goldhen and then go to settings.

I can run Gamecube and wii games at a playable frame rate. If you go into core options, while game is running, adjust the cpu% speed until the audio and game smooths out.

CPUs can't encode on their own (software mode is unbelievably slow) It's all in the bandwidth. PS4 GDDR5 = 178 GB/s to CPU/GPU. Ivy Bridge, DDR3-1600, dual channel = ~21GB/s to the CPU only.

WEBThe PS4 reserves 2.5 GB of memory for the OS, meaning there's technically only 5.5 GB specifically for games. In my experience, a lot of PC ports of those same games use more than that total, across both system RAM and VRAM combined, even with settings nearest to the console versions.

WEBJun 12, 2012 · if a ps4 game uses 4-6gb of Vram and then that same game gets ported over to PC you will need that much Vram from your pc gpu to run the same game. that was not the case last-gen, but I agree, pc games will have much better backward compatibility when console games get ported over to pc next-gen.
