WEBJan 19, 2018 · LuigiMario. Yeah Blitz 2001 or 2000 on Dreamcast is hands down the way to go for the franchise. Very close to arcade perfect or better, runs at 60 FPS, and feels great. I don't hate 2002-2003 on the PS2/GCN/Xbox, but by the graphics becoming less low poly they kind of lost some of their appeal strangely enough.

WEBJan 2, 2024 · NFL Street is better than NFL Blitz, but neither are great. The most "arcade" football game that is good is probably Madden '06 for PS2/Xbox. It's a sim sports game for the time but was more arcadey than NFL 2K5, and has a genuinely great franchise mode and fun multiplayer (though the online multiplayer has been gone for some time now).
