Best SimCity Game? : r/SimCity - Reddit
WEBAug 5, 2018 · Most people will say 4 rightly for the unmatched depth of simulation, but for me personally it's 3k unlimited. It just has a certain je ne sais quoi that even 4 or CS cannot match. Any SimCity game except the attrocity they named "SimCity" in 2013 is good. It is a matter of personal opinion, I think SimCity 4 is the best.
So what's the best citybuilder game anyway? Is it STILL Sim City 4?

WEBDec 14, 2021 · 3000 is ok, at least until you hit the weird population crash that always happens after awhile. SimCity 4 is the best but my personal favorite is SimCity 2013. 2000 for nostalgia, 3000 for gameplay improvements. 4 with all the mods for me. I grew up with the original though, it holds a special place.

WEBMay 15, 2021 · Simcity 4 has some great city tutorials, to help you get accustomed to the game. eh, it comes down to preference. sc4 is my favorite and also has aged really nicely and has more mods so i would say it's more fun to play in 2021 than sc3000. neither of them are any more or any less suited to newcomers if you ask me.
