Legend of Legaia One of the most interesting, and creative action rpg's I've ever played. Vandal Hearts One of the first srpg's I ever played. Still holds up.
Which of the PS1 RPGs you think hold up the best to this day?
WEBVery easy strategy RPG targeted towards girl gamers, similar in style to Disgaea. Xenogears, wild arms, alundra, and final fantasy tactics would be my choices. Star Ocean 2, Front Mission 3, Tactics Ogre, Vagrant Story, Dragon Warrior (Quest) VII, Azure Dreams e: All 'Final Fantasy' games are good.

WEBThe Legend of Dragoon. My favorite game on PS1. Final Fantasy 7 is pretty good. Chrono Trigger is technically a SNES game but it's available for PS1 and it's one of the best turn based RPGs ever. Front Mission 3 is in the vein of a FF Tactics. Lunar is a beautiful one that if you haven't touched should be on your list.

WEBWild Arms 1 & 2. Stand alone titles. Very unique settings. Turn based with some of the best puzzles in the genre on the system, ear worm worthy music and themes. Avoids a lot of tropes while still being firmly a jrpg. Valkyrie Profile is a gorgeous ARPG with a kick ass story and multiple endings. One of the best looking games on the system.
